Wow! Color me impressed - Matched!!

Hey ya'll,

My names Jensen. I'm an active duty airman deployed in one of our secret squirrel locations right now. I just stumbled across this website after being told about it by a fellow airman, and I've gotta say, it is super impressive to me that there are people like you guys out there putting in so much time and effort for us service members when all you get in return is our appreciation. Thank you so much for what ya'll do. Moral is such a big factor out here and something like getting a hand made gift like these cigar box guitars works wonders for it!

I feel weird asking for something like this, but I would definitely love to learn to play one of these bad boys! I've been playing guitar (right handed) for about nine years now and I've seen a few CBGs around but never had a chance to play one. If ya'll could help me remedy that I would be much obliged!

I was also wondering if anyone's ever made a six string CBG?

We have a license plate guitar ready to go. 3 string, righty with an Illinois license plate invoking images of one of our many politicians singing the blues while doing time in the penitentiary.

Hey Huntz,

Thanks for the quick reply! I would love one of those license plate guitars but I checked with leadership per Dan's suggestion and they told me that the license plate would be a no go (thanks Dan!).

Sorry for the inconvenience. Do ya'll have anything with a pickup and four strings? I was wanting to try some of that electric slide blues!

Huntz makes some kickass guitars, so I am sure you will be happy with the one he has. Click on his name and send him a friend request, that way you can exchange messages without posting any personal information in the public forum area.

Just something to watch out for, some of the services don't allow license plates to be exchanged, so they may reject the gift. You might want to check with your leadership first.

Just got my CBG yesterday, and man is she gorgeous!!!

I love the mahogany neck and green inlays! Everyone in the shop is jealous so I've been telling them to get on here and hit you guys up. Been playing some slide blues (not very good at it yet though), some Jack Johnson and some Ed Sheeran. A bud of mine figured out how to play Metallica's Seek and Destroy on the cigar box which was a good laugh.
