Two Requests for Deployed Members - Matched!!

Greetings CBG'ers,

My name is Ken and I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan as a First Sergeant. I have two requests for Cigar Box Guitars. The first is for a young man in my unit who has a birthday coming up (early August). He plays Ukulele and I would like to surprise him with a cigar box guitar. My second request is a personal one. I'll be retiring after this deployment with 21 years of service and would like to request a Cigar Box Guitar for my retirement (April 2017). Ken, I am moving so I don't have the time to build the one for the young man in you unit, but I would be honored to build yours. Where do you call home when you are not overseas? I am former Air Force myself and had I stayed in would have been retired by now. Thank you for your service!

Just got this. Builders - you may not always get an acknowledgement. If somebody is trying to kill you, e-mail becomes tertiary. But it is always appreciated, so just do it and don't fret over a thank you note.

It was a huge morale boost for everyone seeing Camron open the package and unpack the guitar--smiling the entire time. I sent a photo of him practicing.
