Motörhead tribute album

Hi all,
Due to the response to my video Ace of spades and after a suggestion from Steve we are asking if anyone would be interested in making an album called A TRIBUTE TO MOTÖRHEAD with the intention of using just CBGs ,
The album is open to everyone and to cover their vast array of songs,
Even if you don't know Motörhead go on and have a go I garrantee you will get goosebumps playing,
DON'T YOU THINK YOUR SPEAKERS IN YOUR AMP NEED A WORKOUT
The object is for us to all have fun,
The songs can be either acoustic or full rock n roll blues mayhem,
Let me know who's interested and what song you want to play,
Then you can upload them into OUR album for everyone to enjoy,
Good luck and happy rockin,
Oh and Paul smith you've got the job for harmonica on Ace of spades acoustic lol,

Hi all
The list of artists and songs to date that are going on the album will be posted this weekend with any additions added as and when,
There will be a cut off point which I'm aiming for completion 31st may with the final mix down /mastering a week later then album to be posted on here for download second week in June,

Here's my version of 'line in the sand'. recorded in a shed using cheapo equipment.

this is the 2nd version, featuring a stripped back approach, instead of the over produced 1st try( was gonna bury the vocals - i aint no singer!) but thought - fuck it, it is what it is!

enjoy ( hopefully) and criticism welcome.

Hi there,

Just listened to your track this is what this albums about ,

great improvisation and you even sneaked in the harmonica at the end,

your vocals are reminisant of mark knophler (dire straits) and thats a compliment

Hi Steve,
Well once it's done I'm going to make sure he gets a copy before he flies back to California and I'm hoping to get one of my guitars to him as well , I'm sure if he sees one he might wanna convert it to a bloody great bass lol, seriously though I know he loves collecting things from fans so I'm sure he would love the album and if he don't want the guitar I recon PHIL Campbell or mickey dee will , mickeys a great guy and not only the best drummer in the world he's a pretty good guitar player , phils just nuts lol,
So I will be contacting his management before the gig in November so I can present it to him providing he's not with someone backstage if you know what I mean.
