It kinda makes one string bend up ...usually a smaller string sound like a pedal steel guitar ...not sure why I thought of it but I thought it might be interesting on a cbg??? Here's a video somewhat to clarify

Also it looks like it might be costly to put something like a bender unit inside...there's so many creative and skilled craftsman on this site I thought someone would make a contraption like a b bender for a cbg. Would be very cool

Exactly !!! ....it's might be a bit hard to do at first but I totally was thinking there's space inside these boxes and why not.....,right on!!! Stay in touch with me. Even like a cheap version might yeild some really interesting results. Let's keep brain storming ....a whole new level of cbg. .there many ways to go with this idea!!!

I've got two solidbodies and two cigar boxes with benders on my bench right now.

Benders are pretty easy to make (in the original parsons/white design, or like boomer castlemans bigsby Palm pedals), I suggest taking a look at the cable mechanism on a junk ten speed bike for parts

A CBG B bender should be easy to manufacture, if you use a small spring, from say, a curtain compression rod, or a Fender Tremelo unit, with a pull chain from an old electric fan. You attach the spring to the string end (works better with individual string saddles), then pull like crazy when you wanna bend that B.
