Fisherman's Friend is a former fishing net that decided on a career change. :D The frets are stainless steel fishooks cut down and dressed, the resonator a tomato tin and the strings are my first use of 30 lbs fishing line...originally I had planned on a 19 inch fret length, but the short neck forced me to recalculate and move the bridge (broken banjo bridge cut down and mounted on a teak incense holder strip) nearer to the top of the resonator...soundhole is a "tree of life" necklace epoxied into the birch soundboard.
