Made a simple but effective jig for cutting fret slots.  Pictures show the story.  It works great.  I just use a template to mark the fretboard, slide it in the "slot" and go.

It looks like the sides and aluminum angle is just about the correct height above the base so the blade never touches your base. Very clever...........
Looks great Alan! Am about to start making my own fret boards so will deffo use your ideas mate. Can I just please ask, what is the saw you are using in first pic? How thick is the blade etc, and the make. Great post lad!
