Just wondering if the heat or cold effects gittys much?  I've always keep them inside the house in the A/C but I'm starting to run out of room and I have a small storage building (9 ft x 14 ft) that has a wall A/C unit in it but only comes on when I turn the electricity on from the wall every time I'm in there, so most of the time it's off and it's in the 80s, 90s in there.

Is that to hot for them to be out there for a long period of time?  I want to figure out where to store each new gitty I make until they get sold.  I actually took the time to sheet rock the walls, put nice lighting, paint and put some carpet down in there and would like to hang them all on the walls but worried about the heat and in the winter the cold.

So what do you think?

When I compare my builds to some of the creations posted on this site I think mine should be stored in the bin lol.
Hi Way.I confess to cbg envy. I fallin into the trap of lookin for that perfect build. I was quick to try and go the eye candy route. I reckon you on the money with the pursuit of good cbg sound. What good is it ya mini axe looks a million dollars but sounds like $#it. Next build I'm gonna focus on a plain build with a good sound. But I digress.

As far as storage goes, I think you'd want to avoid temp extremes. Don't leave em beside a fire, on the burnin sand at beach, or outside in the snow. And def not in the bathtub he he he chuckle

Same Here, I look at the other builds here for ideas & inspiration, but I focus on "can I play it" first. An expensive conventional professional studio quality 6 string and an affordable student-grade conventional 6 string don't look very different from 10 feet away.  The value in an instrument is in the music it makes, not how well it compliments the drapes and carpet.
