six string neck idea

hey guys, i was walking around home depot the other day and i noticed some oak shoe molding that ~3/4" on one side and ~1/2" on the other and it got me thinking. a standard 1x2 is not wide enough for a 6 string neck, but if you add a piece of this shoe molding to either side of the 1x2, not only is it wide enough, but there's little or no shaping to do since its already rounded off, just light sanding. add a truss rod and your good to go.
