What you need:

- Paper from laser labels (without labels/stickers)

- Laser Printer

- Mod Podge

1) print the logo (mirror inverted) on the empty label paper (glossy side)

2) brush MOD PODGE on sanded wood and use a spatula to glaze it

3) use spatula to glaze Mod Podge

4) put the paper (printed side down) on the Mod Podge and glaze again

5) let it dry for a while

6) lift paper slowly and with caution

Interesting, usually a very good idea to use one's own logo though.

yes, the 7ender logo is only an example, I used it because of the small letter size to show how accurate it is. Everybody knows it so everybody can compare.

Very cool

I can tell you what not to try: this product from Michaels. It looked promising but it made a huge gummy mess and the decals were useless. It only comes with three sheets too. My next experiment will be Testors printable water decal sheets. Stay tuned. 

 

You should squeeze out nearly all of the podge. There'll be no podge left over to be a mess.

Just to follow up...  I found something called Bare Metal Foil decal sheets. Just put one in the inkjet printer, spray on a couple of clear coats of Krylon and immerse in warm water. About $3 a sheet at the local RC hobby shop. Transformed a junk souvenir uke into... a junk souvenir uke with my logo on it! (Also changed the frets, tuners, nut and added a piezo pickup.)
