I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and extend a sincere THANK YOU to all involved in the CBG for Servicemen initiative.

My name is Philip Craig, and I am new to this forum...and to the CBG world entirely. For the past 21.5 years, I have been a member of the USAF. Originally beginning my career as an aircraft mechanic for the first twelve years, and then becoming a Flight Engineer on the C-130H Hercules. I have traveled the world, and have proudly served in the wars/conflicts that have faced our great nation since 1993.

Recently, i developed an itch to build a cigar box guitar, but didn't really know where to begin. I dove into the videos, webpages, and Facebook pages, trying to learn as much as i could for my first build. Through Facebook, I had exchanged a couple of posts with Glenn Watt, and through his videos, stumbled upon the link to the CBG for Servicemen page. What you all are doing is fantastic, and I wish to extend a salute and a great THANK YOU.

In a time when our nation is rapidly changing, support for the military has dwindled greatly. For builders like you to donate something crafted by your hands and time really means a lot. I have spent many a night downrange, in a lot of places that will never be mentioned as a "vacation hot spot", and I can assure you, a gift like the ones you have given is priceless.
