First I can't buy easily form stewmac.
Neck is new and I know that it needs more fret work.
I'm trying measure neck angel with uneven frets on neck.
Know that stewmac has special ruler for measuring with frets.
Someone any ideas ?

"Bolt on" is really the wrong term - just use ordinary neck mount screws and a neck plate. You DO NOT need to extend the neck into the pickup rout, you are just making more unnecessary work for yourself. Trim the neck to fit the pocket, fix with the screws. Install the bridge, and tailpiece, trial fit one or two strings, shim the neck if necessary. If the neck is sitting in the pocket pretty low, you could use a Strat type bridge instead of the tunomatic.
Neck is not short. It's for 28.7" scale. Body is made for 24.7 scale. I already extend the neck pocket. I know what to do with body only problem was measuring neck angle. Bolts are right thing for neck. I'm not going to use bare bolts. I'm putting thread in body and neck.
Hi, I think measuring the neck angle will not help you - if you only have a few handtools, will you be be able to accurately an angle of 2.35° or whatever you calculate that you need?
Making a full-size "section"drawing may help to figure it out, so that you can work out the relationship between the neck pocket depth, bridge height and action. However, I honestly think that a "trial and error" fitting will be best. Fit the neck , then you may need to temporarily hold the bridge in place before you install the studs and paint / finish it. This is what I have to do when I make my resonator electric 6 strings, as getting the neck angle is very important - I don't try and draw or calculate it, I just put everything together, check, shim..and repeat maybe 6 times until it is right.
I'm thinking how Tight should be the neck pocket fit. Right now neck don't come easily out. I can shake the neck 0,1 - 0,2mm side to side. Business card don't fit on sides. Thin printer paper fits on sides.
Does neck needs to come easily out or hardly...
I think that neck doesn't move side to side if I use bolts with metal threads.
I know that too tight neck pocket will crack the wood with neck on.
I can make pictures if that helps. I'm going to use big pickguard to cover ugliness and protect the wood.
Ideally you should have good tight fit, with zero movement, but once it's screwed in it will be fine I'm sure. You DO NOT need to use bolts and inserts, ordinary wood screws are fine if you drill pilot holes in the neck and clearance holes in the body- millions of guitars have been made that way and they all work just fine.
I know that ordinary wood screws are fine as long I don't screw out and in.
Bolts and inserts are better for repairing and fixing guitar. That way I don't have problem that
screws wears out wood etc.
For me something is not right with neck fitting
