Short Scale build

I'm ready to start my 3rd build and I'm thinking big box (Arturo Fuente) with a 24 5/8" scale. I;m thinking maybe a humbucker I'd like this to be a blues machine am I on the right track? Maybe a 4 string also.

Yes you are. But it is not a 'short scale', it's a very normal and typical guitar scale length :)

OK yea I was thinking short because my other builds are 25 1/2" scale. hers a shot of my first two builds.
