My diddley bow is equipped with a stock pickup from a Ibanez GIO electric guitar. I use a G string. For the sound I patch it through a Boss GT8 effects processor using the setting 78-2 for this songand then pump through a small Roland Micro Cube. The length from Nut to Bridge is 27 3/4". Make sure you use some rosin on your bow and I found that bowing just in front of the pickup is the best. Any other questions feel free to ask
