cover: Gillian Welch Song
DGB guitar

Wayside Back In Time

[C] Standing on a corner with a nickel or a [F] dime
There use to be a [C] rail car to take you down the [Am] line.

[C] Too much beer and whiskey to ever be em- [F] ployed
And when I got to [C] Nashville, too much soldiers [Am] joy.

CHORUS: [C] Back, baby, back in [F] time.
Take me [C] back to when you were [Am] mine.

[C] Wasted on the wayside, Wasted on the [F] way
If I ain't gone to [C] morrow, You know I'm gone to [Am] day.
CHORUS

[C] Peaches in the summertime, apples in the [F] fall
If I can't have you [C] all the time, I don't want none at [Am] all.
CHORUS

I [C] wish I was in Frisco in a brand new pair of [F]shoes
Here I am in [C] Nashville with the Nashville [Am] blues.
CHORUS

[C] Come all you good time rounders listening to my [F] sound
And drink a round to [C] Nashville, before they tear it [Am] down.
CHORUS

John, this is my favorite.  Here is another video entrapment, using a program called "8mm."  I kinda like the frame issue feature and the treatment to make it look like an old projection  audio stinks though.

Well done on everything John! The singing, playing, location.....just a well put together vid. One of your best I think.

Looks like a nice place to just sit and gather ones thoughts.......or to let em' float on down the creek.

Thanks a lot, Derek, Slowhound, Muddy, Primitive and Dave.

This was recorded live with my old and cheap Kodak still camera placed on a short tripod on the ground.   It was sitting so low that it was shielded from the wind.    - Wind noise had spoiled 2 earlier attempts.

I changed to black and white with some tint on Windows Movie Maker.  Thanks again for your listens.
