cover: Gillian Welch Song
DGB guitar

Wayside Back In Time

[C] Standing on a corner with a nickel or a [F] dime
There use to be a [C] rail car to take you down the [Am] line.

[C] Too much beer and whiskey to ever be em- [F] ployed
And when I got to [C] Nashville, too much soldiers [Am] joy.

CHORUS: [C] Back, baby, back in [F] time.
Take me [C] back to when you were [Am] mine.

[C] Wasted on the wayside, Wasted on the [F] way
If I ain't gone to [C] morrow, You know I'm gone to [Am] day.
CHORUS

[C] Peaches in the summertime, apples in the [F] fall
If I can't have you [C] all the time, I don't want none at [Am] all.
CHORUS

I [C] wish I was in Frisco in a brand new pair of [F]shoes
Here I am in [C] Nashville with the Nashville [Am] blues.
CHORUS

[C] Come all you good time rounders listening to my [F] sound
And drink a round to [C] Nashville, before they tear it [Am] down.
CHORUS

Awesome job, Uncle John!  And Steve-O's 8 mm treatment was pretty nifty!  I'm thinking another album cover here....   Great!

Thanks, Derek.  Might be a good song for you to do.  Check out Gillian Welch doing it and if you don't know her stuff, check out some more.

I like that pic, clock.  I will title it Farmer John With CBG.

Thanks, Sweetwater.

Me too, Dave.  Great effects.   I wish I would have known about that and done it that way.  I will try to remember for the future.  Steve O taught me to play guitar.  He was (is) a good friend, music friend and bicycling friend.   Sadly we now live a hundred miles away and both have busy lives.

Uncle John, I loved Steve-0s 8 mm film version. Adds the right vibe.

Thanks, AGP!    Ha, camera work.   Cheap still cam on a short bendable tri-pod sitting on rail side cinders and rocks!

"Oh Yeah", Playing and Vocals smoother than a "Mellow Bourbon/Whiskey", love the camera work as well !!!

Thanks, Steve.   That 8mm treatment is pretty cool.
