Ah thanks NancyKat , James and the guys... a mate made it for a few years and now he is poorer than me..

I'm not in it for the money just the fun of it and the creative challenge .I'm on a study... I still cant believe that you can use the same tuners and strings on these things and they all sound so different..from the tiny magentic differences in pickups to the wood and material that resonates, the holes, the bridge material the nut material.

I have many old parlours with tinlids dogbowls etc and they all sound so different..I have a £5 encore with steels on that sounds awesome but its trashing the bridge and the neck...but sounds great!

I have just changed a nut from a bone one to a bolt on an old 3 string banjo lashup, and just that dramatically changes the sound..lots of tiny minute differences all add up....

From a resonating toilet seat to a metal plant pot guitar... all facinating experiments...

I have found a pickup that can pick up both electic and acoustic in one

discovered bug easy frets, metal resonating tops and magentic systems, you name it I have tried it

and dont plan to give up yet...One day I might just build something really good...just one day....:>)

bug , i do believe that if some of the right things occurred, (don't ask me , i have no idea what they would be) you could be earning a living from your music. you churn out one after another song, not just unorganized sound like what i do,  actual songs , many with professional potential. this is how i see it so its what im saying !!!
