This is an original song about an old west gunfighter, sometime after the Civil War. This is the third in a trilogy of cowboy tunes. Played on a 4 string in Chicago tuning & plugged into a Cube.

Hi Unc, this guit is loud acoustically too but I plugged in since I wanted some tremolo. Helped some from rolling back the treble and turning up the bass with the piezo.

Been listening to some Marty Robbins for inspiration and especially "Big Iron".

I had not heard of that movie. Is i a western? Do love westerns! Thanks as always for the supportive comments!

Hi Sammy, yes Chicago tuning is exactly that, the same as a bari uke - I think the old tenor banjo/tenor guitar guys came up with it. I had played uke for several years before building cbg's, both standard and bari and that had helped me tremendously with playing cbg's. Thank you for the kind comments. Always enjoy your singing as well :)

Good tune. Well played and nicely sung. That git sounds great in Chi-town tuning.
