cool jim, real reso metalic tone was definately distinguishable to me. great tune also was that shortnin bread? you did good and i would like to see more sound clips from ya. i was real critical on myself fer my first coupla videos and on my first i was shaking cause i didnt want to mess up and miss a note but i did miss a coupla notes yep.but it didnt stop me from wanting to do more videos of other guitars i have built.thanks fer letting us hear yer work.

Hey Randy, You are the first to comment on my first (and maybe last video). I posted a picture that shows the set up. I have been playing around with these different cake pan - shower drain reso looking builds. 7 and 8 were similar although I used a hinge for a tailpiece. There has been some discussion that the hinge may kill volume. Another issue has been the thickness of the bridge also killing volume. This style of build is nothing like a true cone, however it does have an interesting sound, not to mention I am having fun building them.. I appreciate your comments. Take care - Jim
