It wouldn't have that same vibe without the paperclip and the coffee ring. It definitely has a Blue Collar vibe.

 i like to  think  the paperclip   hints at  3  dimension  , while the coffee ring anchors  it  , and the    offset-ness  makes it  look  like     something  of importance   yet  not locked away,  casually  left   in the  open  to  enjoy  ,  thus  gathering   elements of its environment.

but  ,, it sounds so  gay  when  ya  say it  like that  ..  ;-)
