To be honest, I don't fully understand what socialism is really.

I've never been remotely interested in politics, it's all just manmade Bullshit to me :0)

I just concentrate on being Honest and kind to my fellow human beings. As for the "peasant" instruments, I guess what it is, is like many other people on CBN, I get more satisfaction from making stuff and putting a bit of myself into it, than just handing money over to someone else. Don't get me wrong though, I do love the Rimini and play it lots and fully appreciate the craftsmanship that's gone into it. I just like to be more a part of the instrument I'm playing. More Alchemy than socialism :0)

There's something incredibly satisfying about getting a guitar on the cheap and putting your own stamp on it.

Being Mr Skinty Skint the Skint person, Most of my guitars have come that way.

I did however buy my first electric guitar about 4 or 5 yrs ago which took me ages to save up for at £350.

an Italia Rimini, Beautiful guitar and yet for some strange reason I tend to play the cheaper guitars more :0)

Remember the Hideously Pink guitar I stripped back to Bare wood?

Well this is what it sounds like and the reason I just couldn't bring myself to butcher it for parts !
