"Thanks Uncle John", love the new old name!, the body and headstock size, are the same as my store bought Mandolin, but the Neck is wider to accommodate the chunky fingers, still have a few modifications to make to it, one is to lower the action so I can try out those 2 finger chords, also need to move the Vol Tone controls, they're a pain in the butt in their present position, and will probably add some type of sound hole to mask the holes left. :-)

I have been waiting and wanting to hear that mando.  It is bigger than I realized.  Sounds good, a bit unique.  Oh, the hat is turning around!  You've got a keeper and a winner. 

Try out those 2 finger chords too.
