Its just a snapshot in time, never leaving any line

its a foot print from the past, that seems so real but soon fades fast

Youths smile and far away places

no cares or worries, on their youthful faces

looking back I should have known

the faces from who I have grown

I have looked but never seen

the expresions on their faces

and what they mean

because I never knew their dreams

their lives have past me by

so far away it seems

they may have been like your or mine

we will never know, faded photos lost in time

snapshot in time.

Thanks Phillip , Claim and Slowpaw, Jason, Calim, Clock, James and Uncle John...the sad thing is I have little idea who they all are, only a vague idea who they might be...so much gets lost through our generations.

Here's a tip, write who you are one the back and a date it even if obvious, for the third generation who one day may find them hidden in a dusty box!.....
