Thanks for the comment, Jack.  The lapsteel is in this video made from an old bed rail from a local thrift store. It seems to be mahogany and does have a pretty sweet tone.  Slide guitars are very expressive instruments and make it easy to convey what I feel.  I have no usable singing voice so I get to explore here to create feeling in songs.  Stay in touch and thanks again.
