Is, and has always been on the top of my Fave Songs List, just counted 24 versions by various artists, in  my Rollin' n' Tumblin' playlist, including Hambone Willie, and can now add this fine version to boost it up to 25, however the Baby Leroy Foster Trio version is still my favourite!  :-)

Great version, there’s a lot of stories behind where this one comes from or how old it is, actually a barn side diddley bow tune from the farm that had been passed around for some time before it was recorded. So many versions of this song that are all good, including yours uncle :)

It's been a while since I did a vid.  It is pretty cold out here, a bit above 0 F (-15C) and I am going to hibernate today with the exception of walking my doggy friend, an Alaskan Husky named Sitka.

I seem to have spent the last year working on getting better playing standard six string and Six in Open D or E.    Well, crap.  I did improve.  But my fave and best and most fun things is and probably always will be : plugged in 4 string in open G (GDGB).
