Thanks much Matthew! I do sell these. This particular one may be going to wonderful singer/songwriter Claire Lynch. She hasn't made up her mind as of yet. The key to that sound is a low tension  calfskin head and the nylgut "minstrel" banjo strings which are tuned lower and have a nice thumpy tone. The fretlessness also opens some nice bluesy slides.

Man is that beautiful!!! Do you ever sell them? I would love to be able to get that SOUND! really lovely version of this great old song. Your voice is so authentic it totally fits and makes this perfect.

Yup RTZ, nylgut minstrel strings. They're heavier than the others so they can be tuned lower. This is down to C modal rather than standard G modal.
