Not many people play banjo in that style nowadays. Good to hear the older ways. Clawhammer and Dropthumb players are getting rare. Still have a few around here though.Thanks for posting.

Yes, guy is really talented, Unk. I came across video on youtube, just thought I would post. Nothing to do with me, but wanted ta share, and also give the guy some site hits etc.

Doc Boggs singing, from 1929, I think (says in yt video). Been aware of Doc Boggs , casue ah do a little banjo maself. Doc Watson and others cover "Polly" , a well known banjo tune,  Now 2 am here , need go esoon, Uncle John zzzzzzzzzJust gonna check half time scores Chicago v Houston (soccer), as got a small bet on it :) Night, Unk
