The worst is when you get a little over zealous and cut your lower lip.  Or suffer the shame of over modulating the reed and it blows up in your face.

I grew up on a farm and I would do this to pass the time waiting for a new hay wagon, or whatever.  I think my grandad wished he never showed me how that was done.
