Thanks Unc. I am glad Richard wanted to work together. Yes, we were lucky growing up when we did when parents knew the kids were safe if out of sight all day.

I hope the judge allows my community service to be over so I can make the trip! I may need to bum some gas money.

The video is the best! Sensational job putting visuals with your heartfelt lyrics Derek! I was excited to be part of this song after the first five seconds.  Conjures up lots of personal memories. Great singing, guitar, and storytelling. Your absolutely welcome to join the express to California.

Love that title.  Oh................  Pretty music, vocals and sad story - sad that most of that freedom and innocence is gone.  Good memories.   Super nice job.  

Derek are you going to be able to ride the Bluebird out to visit Richard?  I hope so.   Bring gits, snacks, fuzzy slippers and a little gas money.

Ha Jeff! I had my trusty Crosman 760 BB gun (also shot pellets & darts!) that I bought with my paper route money and the Apple Krate and dog in the pics are mine from back in the day. I spent many days in the woods!

Really nice Derek i can relate to all the pics love the krate i still ride my 20" Dragstar modeled after the Stingrays , lost all my teeth from bazoka gum , dug pellets out of my foot from my bb gun , swam in the creeks in summer time ..... reaching for the tissues ...
