This song was authored and played using only a 3 string dog-bowl resonator guitar + simple vocal singing in the key of C (which is apparently my best key to sing stuff like this in) no other instruments were used. I added living room sized reverb to it in Audacity to make it sound more natural - and less like I was singing and playing it from inside the microphone...

Thanks Pick and Richard! . . . :-)  This is only the first half of that song I recently authored/composed.  I could never finish it (even though I tried), but eventually came to realize in working on the verses over these past couple of weeks that it was better suited to serve the purpose of presenting a good moral theme to those younger generation family members among us who may be listening to these words while viewing the video affirmation supporting those words as well.

Yep - their is a personal family bias at work here in this song. . .  I dated a redhead girl while in high school, married that same redheaded girl after graduation and joining the U.S. Army, our firstborn child (a daughter) also has red hair.  I have various nieces (and now, great nieces) that have red hair as well.  I have red haired women all around me (that ride motorcycles, by the way . . .) - but yet I recently wrote/performed two prior songs and posted them here featuring blonde women riding motorcycles in them . . .  So it was time to write a song featuring red haired women and let it speak to others about the quality of seeking out/finding stable lifelong relationships to hopefully set a good moral lesson for these youngest generation red haired family members of mine who will probably (hopefully) be hearing this song while they are still young and impressionable in this regard . . .  :-)

Love it.  Reminds me of a good old era of music.  Nice story to it too.  Really wonderful.

Real nice job on this George! Feels like this song has some meaning near and dear to you. Keeping it simple makes it everything but simple. Very catchy melody and some good guitar pickin and singing. Video presentation is excellent!
