During the last build I discovered that soaking shiny plated metal parts in a solution of citric acid for a few minutes will strip the coating and make the parts look older. After that I soak in a baking soda solution and rinse well to neutralize the acid. You might want to do this to that hinged hook if it really annoys you.

Nice amp. I have made a few cb amps and they are fun little projects and uses up the little cube boxes too small for guitars or ukes.

Clever all the way poorness, great amp to show all the stuff whit, and put your  5 cents electo in there, it sounded tops on the sigarbox must say, complete picture !and crafty video! allround craftwork! nice neat ,& compact ! and most of all cheap! your a great naratif speaker !

Thanks fellas. I had more dang fun building this thing. I know its simple but it really felt like a good build.
