My 1st CBG

Built this for my son for Christmas 2010. Its made with White Oak, Jatoba and Ebony. The box is Punch Chataeu L English Market (Bob's Favorite) and the size & shape were perfect. It has 1 rod & 1 disc piezo wired to a 3 way and volume. 10 minutes from the workbench, my son stopped right where I handed it to him, quick tune, and played this song for me.

He is only 16 but the Contemporary Christian Rock band that he lead sings for, ThirtyNineThoughts, just won Grand Prize in the 2011 Billboard Magazine Worldwide song writing competition in February. He teaching himself how to play w a slide. I also made him a CBG Amp in a Onyx cigar box. Sounds smoooooth :)
