Thanks Dennis. Really feel like I’m “connecting” with the strings using a slide lately, and I mean connecting on a level deeper than physically contacting the strings with the slide. Took four years but it’s like I can feel the music I play rather than just playing it. Just wish I could play what I feel inside if that makes sense? Right now it’s like the music is controlling the feel whereas I want to express what I feel inside and have the music relate that? Only thing stopping me is my limited repertoire and knowledge of the instrument I think. Hopefully in time but hopefully not another four years down the road haha.
