very good. reminds me of advice my mother gave me when i was younger but didnt care to listen to. some things you can only learn with age

thanks a lot Tony and Mark.....yeah I agree you can't really beat the simply done stuff.

Still fun to mess around though for variety : -) Sometimes also I hide behind effects due to lack of confidence, but trying to take my own advice that even if I make a fool of myself, that's OK,lol!!

Yup, not corny - certainly not sung like that. You have a great voice and that's something which can transform a lyric. I also like the way this is just your voice and guitar without any messing - all that clever electronic stuff is fun and it can make some great sounds but I hope you also keep doing simpler stuff like this.

    Absolutely nothing corny.   Great, meaningful poetry and advice.  "Get to know who you are then like it."  "If you could see what was coming, your would turn your head away."

  That is wonderful and you are making my eyes leak.
