A sample lesson from early in the new blues course. It's about using syncopation to create some funky blues riffs and grooves.

Cheers Bernie, that's great to hear, and there's plenty more where that came from.

Thanks, Patrick!
This 'ol rocker from the 80s needs vids like this while transitioning to CBG.
Although I've incorporated syncopation in my technique, this really helps.

Thankyou Gentleman. I've put a lot of work into the site and both courses. It's great to see that it's helping.

I highly Recommend Patrick's course.  I have Kenny Lee's stuff, Red Dog's, etc... All good stuff.

Patrick's approach is different... it's truly a course, it's like a class... worksheets, video's, etc.  Well worth the investment.

Brass...ahhhh. That explains the sweet sustain. Copper is way lighter, requires a deft touch.

Cheers Ron. It's actually a brass slide, weighs a ton but you get a mean vibrato with it. I've not tried copper, will soon though, cheers.

Patrick,

Nice lesson. You have a nice, easy way of explanation. Good luck with the course; lots of people should find this useful. Looks like you are using a copper slide; aside from bone, copper is my favorite for getting that grind. And cheap at the DIY plumbing supplies...
