Yep, cool git there Bear, that's a fun tuning and I've been meaning to tell you how much I've enjoyed hearing your progress over time.  You've obviously put in the time and it shows!

Excellent! I too can no longer drink that stuff but once upon a time it was my favorite. Makes for a good git tho'

Thanks Wes. Not a drinker at all since having too much too young. Even a drop of whisky, brandy or rum, and I mean a drop, and I'm as sick as a sick thing. This is my first short scale, not counting ukuleles, so I never knew how much I liked them until this one came along. I bought it in error after not reading the listing on eBay properly but now I'm really glad I got it. Funny thing is if I had read the listing properly I probably wouldn't have bought it and I might never have known how much fun a short scale is. Seems like it was meant to be. Thanks for commenting. :)

Thanks Uncle John. I had to look up what pensive meant first but definite thank you. I'm really happy with the guitar now it's not as high pitched as the open D it was in when I bought it. Maybe still too high for me to sing along to it but I'm certainly happy with it. Glad you liked the video.

Thanks for explaining Erasmo. The mandolin looks great. I had the opportunity of buying one not long ago but it was a naff looking plastic thing and tiny. Not like this one at all. Take care too and thanks again.

Good looking build, Bear.   Sounds Good plugged in.   Nice pensive feeling to the song.

I don't know what octave mando length tuning is but I'm glad you liked it. I'm still very much a beginner and going with the flow playing what bits I do know. Much appreciated :)
