Thanks guys. You sure say nice things. I’ve been digging Brushy One String. He can do the Rasta blues by very simple means and booming vocal chords! He plays old beaters. The pluck and slap method.

Those Iris are geogeous!!! Sooo pretty and mournful at the same time maybe because the flowers will not stay long as beauty does fade as the wheel turns into fall.. but alas rebirth will bring them back....Meowww^..^

Thanks AGP. Yup that Carmencita is a classy Broad. She has ruffle peticotes. She’s that “Fat Lady” singer you’ve heard off. She upstages Canora every time. But she’s sweet to me. Yanis even likes her... up at the Lake...

Thanks Uncle John. I love Iris Dement. I saw her live once and melted in my pants. Wow! I like the flowers too. We have 3 Varieties. The Yellow ones are just starting to bloom. I’m in a dream lately. The sky is so Blue and everything bursting with life. Every moment has been a treasure.. I played Ratty today. Video will show on Monday. I love that Ratty. It was still in tune after about 4 months hanging in the “Bat” room. She’s a good grinding slider Unc. Trailer Trash fer Sure. I dubbed Blue Goose behind Ratty with a sassy BluesHarp on top. It came out real funky. Good though.

Very nice, Dave. Your music is the peace giver lately. I initially mis-read the title and thought it said Iris Dement. That Iris lives in Iowa City, Iowa and is married to musician Greg Brown. One of my fave John Prine songs was John and Iris is a duet 'In Spite Of Ourselves.'
