Improvised tree & bungee cord mic stand!

https://bemuzic.bandcamp.com/

I went busking yesterday. Parked out at Newnham and walked into Cambridge (at least a mile I reckon) with all my stuff.
When I started setting up I realised I'd left my mic stand in the car!
I wasn't up for walking all the way back to get it, so started making my way to a music shop to see how much their cheapest mic stand was. ...then I saw a tree and inspiration struck!
It was a bit awkward, and it looked quite weird I think...like I was hiding behind the tree, but it worked : -)
The video is a Facebook live thing done on my phone, so the quality is not great.
If you want to hear the song more clearly it's on this live album (track 2) https://bemuzic.bandcamp.com/album/as-i-sing-live-from-the-streets-vol-1

Great improvisational engineering, Be!  Things like this are why "MacGuyver" is returning to networks here in the States!

thanks John, yeah it sounds more low and boomy on the video than it actually is. Ha, my roadie was busy unfortunately ; -)

Pick, that is OVER indulgence.   Bad puns leave me treed.

Belinda, that sounds GOOD!~   Nice low tone.

Yup facing the tree looks like you are on time out.  You need some roadies and a mic stand.
