Thank for the string info,  Andries.   Now that I think about it, that is a form of sawmill IVIV tuning that I have used some.   I don't know if I will try this one, but I will write it down.  My voice range is not very big.  G and A work most often and Bb is pretty close to A.

Hi there UJ ! thanks for the like ! Much appriciated ! the strings whoed be from a Martin set Retro Custom light   ,for the low end the round wound copper color E top4 0.52 second A top3 0.41 ,and the full steel G high third 0.23 B high fourth 0.14  for what the strings is conserned ,i think you can call it a open Bb tuning  BEBE but in the Bb flat Eb  range i have a chromatic tuner by KORG for guitar & Bass the GT - 120, that gives me the chance to come up whit  these wonderful tunings . 

i usaly start my run on the G string  whit a slide in to the third fret, over to the 5, this is repeated

going over on the high B , from fretts 2 - to 4 & 5 that run is repeated tru  out the play.

That is a great sound.  New tuning to me also.  Nice vocals and song.  Excellent. 

Andries, what strings from a six string would you use for that tuning?   And does that make and open Bb tuning?

I've seen a lot of different tunings pop up on Cigar Box Nation over the years, but I don't think I've ever seen that one, but it sounds great, on what is a very catchy little bit of Pluckin', enjoyed it A. D. :-)
