Fortworth Blues (One more for Townes)

I think Steve Earle wrote this when we learned of Townes passing?
I leard this after seeing a vid of Steve making Nancy Griffith cry when he played it on youtube , if the vids still there please don't compare.
I usually finger pick this but the way I was singing it needed volume.

Hey John I'm gonna check and see if you ever made an instructional vid the double neck vid was kidda one, look how well that did. You could do a 3 stringer vid, you could  reach a wide crowd. Do somethin like Keni Lee that dude to the right.

RTZ, hope your build comes out good and you have a blast.  To me, the 3 string is the most classic cbg.  Others would argue and that's okay.   A good player can maybe do more on a four.   Will be happy to try to answer questions.   I am no big expert, but I know the three string guitars have 3 strings and the 4 stringers have more.

Jason & John My 4 string is about 3/4 of the way done I have never play 3 or 4 string guitar so I'm looking forward to see what I can get out of it. Might have a few guestions for ya. Hearing the instrumental stuff people like Anders And Oily put out with some vocals sound like a challange and maybe something very cool. Thanks Guys

Great stuff! I love this song, and you sing and play it brilliantly. Nice to see you as well. You might just have got me in a Steve Earle mood.
