Thanks guys.  I was listening to Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver over the weekend and decided to write a simple, sad country song.  Just kind of happened.  My daughter is 11, so it only took me the better part of a decade to come up with two verses and a chorus ;)

Fantastic!   Todd, I love this one.  Made me teary.   I don't know if this is your story or just one you made up.  Seems like you are really feeling it and making it real.   If it's not your story, we all know someone whose story it could be.  

I was tempted to ask you for the lyrics, but don't need them. They come through clearly.

Man, you put me in an old time country music mood.   Today is my once a week job with a lot of driving.   There is an old radio station, KWMT 540 AM out of Fort Dodge, Iowa.  They play a lot of the good old stuff and used to do a Gospel tune an hour.  I have not listened to them for a while.  I will today.
