I would gladly drink an ale in any pub where you were singing.

Hiya Mal, thanks for your comments, really had a blast putting it together (well, apart from the times when I wanted to smash it to bits due to my stupid clumsiness or wanting to rush things).... Yes, there are a number of brilliant Ukulele people on YouTube, the best teacher is Ukulele Mike, I sign up to his video's. You are right mate, he's the dogs whatsits! I'm definately going to start making another. I was going to buy an old uke off ebay that needed restoring so I could grab the neck (which as you know is probably the hardest and most time consuming part to build) We'll have to get together for an hour next time I'm visiting Madelines mum, who lives in Cottingham. It would be great to see your pieces. I'm hooked too. Thanks again Mal, cheers Sammy

ACES, mate! Your build has a very sweet sound. Try using Aquila NYLGUT uke strings. They're FANTASTIC, and give you more volume. CHEERS for posting!

Sammy Nice build and a very melodic sound for a mid-life guy ...

Does that dog bite?   Sammy, that was a very likeable video.  Liked your sound, excellent singing and you.  You and some other guys make ukes cool. I play them and they sound like crap!

Great photo of you as a young guy on the tee shirt.
