Oh, the insert in this one isn’t ceramic. It’s the cutout medallion from the cigar box. Looks like a stage backdrop. He gave me the idea to make ceramic medallions to fit round sound holes. My first ones are getting closer to installation but haven’t been finished yet.

Thanks Poopshoe. This “Parlor” guitar is by Bones O’Reily. He lives in Tasmania. Bones is all over Nation. He shows each build step by step so you can see the development of the recessed sound hole. He even put a light inside one. Looks like stage lighting. My Parlor does have a reso sound. The Wes Carl suitcase amp adds to the reso tone. I have the gain and volume all the way up. Wes is on Nation too. Makes wonderful suit case amps.
