Sounds nice, Dave. I was in a guitar store yesterday and picked up a banjo, thinking maybe I could sound musical on it...not so, LOL. I was surprised at how close together the strings are.

I use that tuning on most keys. DADA, EBEB, GDGD all finger the same. I got the habit. I’m waiting to hear that new guit of your’un in a demo vid Uncle.

Thanks Casey. It is an awesome little picker. I’m a bit clumsy with it as I got spoiled with wide 3 string spacing. But it’s good for me. My finger tips are complaining too. I got spoiled with slide guitar. :*).

Thanks on that build of mine, Dave.  DGDG,  I have done that one on mandolin.  Some call it "Saw Mill" tuning.  Easy to play in G.  I like G and I like easy.

Thanks AGP. Ya Snow Peas don’t grow very fast. Iceberg lettuce is delicious though. Erasmo likes playing in the winter outdoors. I prefer my warm stove inside in winter. It was perfect at the garden today. Not too hot, windless, mostly cloudy and bugless. I love Summer!

I have it in G Uncle. DGDG. Casey had it in C I think. I might go higher than G as it is such a short scale length. I like how it sounds though so it stays in G for now. I’m most comfortable in G. The band likes me in G too. Say uncle, your new build is beautiful! Simple and clean. I like the side “monitor” sound hole too.

I admired that banjo when Casey previewed it.   Man, I love the sound and the simple but pretty and expressive style.  I have been spending a lot of time - (at least 5 minutes a week!) - trying to learn a bit of 5 string claw hammer style.  Maybe I have been barking up the wrong banjo.

I have a metal and wood round thing from Jim Morris.  One of these days, I may try something like that one.

Dave, how are you tuned?  Oh, that is too personal.  How is the BANJO tuned?
