Bug's 5 min didley bow - Current Pickup

Finally got build space in garage - so here's a 5 minute build using a similar technology to a lace alumitone pickup, the dual coil system
Two holes, a screwhook, some copper foil, selotape, gaffer tape andsome stong Ni mags and a micro coil and copper rod and your done..

It's needs pre-amping via drive pedal... not sure how lace make theirs louder.. sweet tones though. The AS104 I have is a 10AMP I think 500 & 750 works from memory... check the Lace alumitone hack blogg on here somewhere..

This principle als works with an aluminium can bottom with a central hole as copper is more conductive th electrons go via the copper bar and then through the core of the secondary coil.. needs a pre amp but works a treat. I stuck a sticker over it to check it works so in theory you could have a very thin pickup in principle.. this is basically how an alumitone pickup works. The Ni magenet is a strong one.. and I have for a better sound added the second broken magnet to the bridge to improve the sound quality.
