Broom Handle Bass Diddley Bow - Loopy Improv

https://bemuzic.bandcamp.com/

I seem to have done mostly soft acoustic kind of stuff lately (probably because while busking I've found I'm less likely to get asked to move that way!) and had a sudden urge to do something with lots of distortion!!

I made this Diddley Bow back in 2011. There are photos and details about it here http://www.cigarboxnation.com/photo/albums/didley-bow-with-bob-harrison-lone-star-pick-up

I'm using an Electro-Harmonix 22500 dual stereo looper, a Mooer Tender Octaver, and a Boss Overdrive/Distortion OS-2 with the drive and colour up full!
Recorded on a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8 inch Tablet with a Audio-Technica AT2020 mic going into it, via a Saramonic Smartrig.
The amp is a Fishman Loudbox MIni.
The Diddley Bow tuned to A (It has a normal A string from a guitar on it) made an octave lower with the octave pedal.

I edited the video in Cyberlink Power Director 13. I used the chromakey effect to remove some of the black, and used various backgrounds to show through...

Ah, the Mooer Octave pedal is interesting but probably superfluous to my needs.  I had a look at your excellent looper pedal instructional vid and might dig out my looper again.  It may be useful with my growing collection of ukes.

Patrick and AGP, I made this video recently that might be helpful for getting started with the looping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WHl7E6xAic&t=10s

I'm in the same boat AGP, bought a Ditto a few years back.......never plugged it in  :-/

I have a Boss RC-2 also but could never get my tech short brain wrapped around it.

I need Be to take a trip and show me the ropes cause you have it down to a science!

Yeah!, Love the Distortion, Beat & Looping B, might inspire me to get out the little "Ditto Looper" I purchased a couple of yrs ago, which is still in the box and has never been plugged in (might have to read the instructions first though)  :-D
