Big White Taxi (a tribute to Dave Lynas)
This is a cover of Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell but I change the words a bit and call it 'Big White Taxi'. I dedicate this song to Dave Lynas, a central figure in the cigar box guitar community, who passed away recently. This song always reminded me of him and I felt like this was the right thing to do. He will be missed.

Aw, I thought of Dave a time or three today. Happy thoughts. Our friend had a good and generous life. I know what you mean about feeling like you knew him. Oh, yeah. I know this song once I see Joni. Super nice, your Kaleness. Good choice and song.
I am out in the shed on a beautiful, sunny fall day. (Came in to mark some frets). What a great couple of 2, 3, or 4 hobbies we share and shared with Dave. God bless. Thanks.
