Goldies are the best. It was because of a goldie that we got with rescue. Here's Sadie today. Happy as could be.

SH what a great story -I have rescued so many over the yrs. mostly cats- at one time we had two dogs and fourteen cats! Bridie came from a Golden rescue she also was a mess- she has hip dysplasia both sides- but does good. Thanks for sharing -the dogs are adorable! meow ^^

We were involved with various rescues for about 20 years. We stopped taking in any more critters about 2 years ago. We almost always had big misfit types that nobody could hamdle or wanted. One of our last resues (a bluetic beagle) came from the local dump and had puppies a few weeks later. Bella and her sister Freckles ended up staying. Their mom Sadie is still here too. I'll get her in a vid someday. Her pic was just as she was found. Cold, wet, scared to death and unknown to us preggos.
