Banjo Build Diary: Day 7 [Playing Jambalaya]

I recently finished my American Banjo Kit from Carver Banjos. I decided to merge the Banjo Build Diary series with my existing Sunday Songs series. This week, I do a cover of Jambalaya (originally recorded by Hank Williams) on my newly built banjo, tambourine, and harmonica.

Banjer looks really nice.   Good job, Joe.  The pick works fine in this instance and makes it come off like a tenor banjo to my ears - and that is more than fine too.  I have a saying for music snobs who say you can or can not do something.  'Screw em'!"

A good old Hank Williams song and a TWO CHORDER  I like two chorders.   Good harp and well sung.
