Yup ! Dave its Pear time here as well, there are hanging so much on that i have to support the branches for not to break ! im thinking on bringing them to the veggie cruscher to juice them up this year !,have not dicided yet !

AGP, I eat a lot of apples because I have no teeth. I make a huge smoothie every day and liquify them. I seem to have good health effects from them. I eat more fruit than veggies. I like cider as it turns to Applejack. Gives a nice flavor and head to the smoothie. :*)

I’m lucky to live. In Apple country Kale. We have a big Apple festival up here in Bayfield 
wisconsin. For my part it has been my ultimate garden challenge to get the trees to bearing age without the critters eating or breaking my trees. Tall fences. Winter tree wrapping. Proper pruning and good luck is required.

I don't eat a lot of Apples per se, but I do like a bit of Apple Sauce on my Pork Chops, and I have been known to indulge in drinking a fair bit of Scrumpy over the years! ;-)

Pity about the Frost Warning, obviously the first signs of Winter approaching :-(
