yup , its all TIN .. neck too ;-)

this little tin gem was made by a subdivision of teisco for sears in the 60’s , as a more affordable guitar for kids. Just an Acoustic tin guitar made to look electric with fake pickups etc .. .
as you can tell , i “ jerry rigged” it and added some attitude and electrified it .
.... i may never go back to cbgs now .. lol .
This thing is 20 pounds of fun in a 5 pound bag ;-)

Sorry My recording set up sucks , it sounds much better live . ;-)

i'll probably do some tweeking and swap out the strings etc .. later .. this was just a taste test ;-)

Here’s my new toy …... literally . it’s an antique TOY emenee tiger sunburst guitar .
Its PLASTIC. These old toy guitars are highly sought after due to their coolness and surprisingly playability .. they usually fetch from $100 to $1500 on ebay depending on condition .
I got this one for 10 bucks :-D
It was missing a bridge and the tailpiece .. so I added a violin tail piece I had laying around , and popped a blank bone bridge under the strings .. and gave it a whirl .
The recording does not give this justice .. I just taped a piezo rod the the body and plugged her in .. she sounds way better in person . I only put 2 strings on her for now till I’m comphy with tension .. or I might even leave it a 2 stringer .
This thing is a hoot to play , easy , lite , and sounds great . (wish I had a better way to record )
If you see one selling for cheep .. I highly suggest you grab it .. they are a collectors piece .. and they can be a lot of fun too . its playability will astound you .
Sorry for the crappy recording ..out of trying a few different ways .. this was the best I got .
It honestly sounds much better more like a regular acoustic guit .
